On September 7, 2024, Yanmar Marché Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., opened a new buffet restaurant, SEA & FARM by YANMAR MARCHÉ, on the 12th floor of Yanmar’s headquarters building in Kita-ku, Osaka.
A Rich Dining Experience in the Heart of Umeda, Osaka
Yanmar Group, with its brand statement “A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE,” is actively pursuing initiatives for a sustainable society in the areas of food production and energy conversion. As part of this effort, Yanmar Marché has launched the new restaurant SEA & FARM by YANMAR MARCHÉ. During weekdays, it serves as the employee cafeteria for Yanmar Group, while on weekends, it is open to the general public.
Leveraging Yanmar Group’s extensive expertise and experience in the food industry, SEA & FARM by YANMAR MARCHÉ offers dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Located on the 12th floor of Yanmar’s headquarters building, YANMAR FLYING-Y BUILDING, at 1-32 Chayamachi, Kita-ku, Osaka, the restaurant is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 75-minute time limit. Reservations are required and can be made through the official website.
The menu features options like the Special Lunch (¥3,000 for adults), which includes a choice of main dishes, and the Buffet Lunch (¥2,300 for adults) without a main dish. The buffet offers a wide variety of items, including a salad bar, deli bar, soups, desserts, bread, and a drink bar.
Additionally, monthly rotating main dishes can be ordered for an extra ¥700, and a Sustainable Discount of ¥300 is available for guests entering after 1:00 PM. This discount is part of an effort to reduce food waste, as the buffet will not be restocked after 1:30 PM.
Going forward, Yanmar Group will continue its efforts toward a sustainable society with a focus on “food production” and “energy conversion.” This restaurant is expected to provide a unique dining experience to both locals and tourists, allowing them to engage with Yanmar’s sustainability initiatives.
