Borderless Japan Co., Ltd., operator of the social entrepreneur training institution “Borderless Academy,” has launched a new business community, “BAEO” (Borderless Academy Entrepreneur’s Organization), to help graduates transition to the next stage. This community provides courses, mentoring, and study sessions to support the growth of entrepreneurs into business leaders.
BAEO: A Next-Generation Business Community for Social Entrepreneurs
Since 2018, Borderless Academy has been working to nurture social entrepreneurs. To date, more than 110 social entrepreneurs have graduated from the Academy, each taking on new social challenges in various regions. However, after launching their businesses, many entrepreneurs face unexpected challenges during the operational phase. To address this, BAEO, a new business community to further support graduates, was established.
This community provides a platform for entrepreneurs to learn essential skills for becoming business leaders and grow together. Specifically, the community offers regular courses to improve business literacy and group mentoring sessions. Additionally, study sessions and networking events featuring top-level business leaders and experts are held, providing participants with practical knowledge and opportunities to build networks. The need for BAEO arose from the necessity for social entrepreneurs to balance financial independence with social impact. Through BAEO, participants are empowered to strengthen their businesses and continue taking on challenges to solve social issues.
BAEO offers a variety of programs, focusing on practical courses to enhance business literacy and group mentoring sessions where entrepreneurs share challenges and explore solutions together. In addition, the monthly “Monthly Forum” invites experts in finance and social impact investment to provide new perspectives and insights to participants. These initiatives help graduates prepare to transition from entrepreneurs to business leaders. We look forward to seeing how BAEO continues to support social entrepreneurs in building sustainable business models and creating greater impact in addressing social challenges.
