Completion of Renewable Energy Transition at 204 Facilities, RE100 Certification Achieved
Tokyu Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Hoshino) has transitioned the electricity supply at 204 of its offices, commercial facilities, and hotels to 100% renewable energy. This initiative has earned the company RE100 certification, making it the first domestic enterprise to achieve this milestone.
The new commercial features actress Fumi Nikaido, dressed in a white knit hat and a red coat, marveling at the illumination in Omohara Forest. Set against the backdrop of Shibuya, where the lights are powered entirely by renewable energy, the CM highlights Tokyu Fudosan’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its vision for the future.
Filming took place in September at a Tokyo studio. Following the shoot, Nikaido was surprised with a second birthday cake after receiving one during a previous filming session in July. She expressed her gratitude, jokingly noting her embarrassment at receiving cakes two months in a row.
Looking ahead, Tokyu Fudosan aims to further reduce CO2 emissions by 2030 while expanding its renewable energy operations nationwide. The company is currently involved in 113 renewable energy projects, including solar and wind power plants, with a total capacity of 1,807 MW. As part of the Tokyu Fudosan Group, it remains committed to accelerating efforts toward a sustainable future.
