“Orb: On the Movements of the Earth” is based on the manga by Uoto and takes place in 15th century Europe, depicting the struggles of those dedicated to proving the heliocentric theory. The premiere will feature the first two episodes back-to-back, with post-broadcast availability on Netflix globally and free streaming on ABEMA.
Produced by Madhouse, the anime boasts a stellar voice cast, including Maaya Sakamoto as the protagonist Rafal, Kenjiro Tsuda as the inquisitor Nowak, and Sho Hayami as the scholar Hubert. The opening theme is handled by Sakanaction, while the ending theme is performed by Yorushika.
