Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in many countries, with an expected increase in Japan due to an aging population. Cardiac echocardiography is crucial for assessing heart conditions, yet a shortage of technicians and technical challenges necessitate a more efficient testing system. The AI technology jointly developed by Juntendo University and M3AI automates cardiac echo exams, shortening examination time while increasing the daily number of tests by 18%. Despite the rise in measurement items from 25 to 85 and improved image quality, there was no increase in technician fatigue.
