Tiger Corporation has been committed to achieving a sustainable society by promoting the collection and recycling of stainless steel bottles since October 2021. Over three years, the project has collected approximately 93,400 bottles and established collection boxes at 459 locations nationwide.

Reducing Recycling Process Burden through Collection Efforts

As part of its responsibility for sustainable manufacturing, Tiger Corporation is pushing forward the circular economy for stainless steel bottles.
In the goals set for 2020, the company aims to achieve a 10% collection rate of used bottles and use recycled resin in 50% of its products by 2030. So far, the company has collaborated with 28 partner organizations and set up collection boxes at 459 locations nationwide. This initiative has successfully collected about 29,900 kg of stainless steel, reducing the burden on recycling processes while securing high-purity stainless materials. The collected bottles are separated into stainless steel and PP resin by recycling specialists and transformed into new products.
The project has gained attention on social media, with comments appreciating the acceptance of bottles from any manufacturer. Tiger Corporation encourages people to bring bottles found during year-end cleaning to the collection boxes.
