The Ministry of the Environment will host its first-ever Water Environment Symposium, themed “Expanding the Circle of Enhancing Regional Appeal through Water Environments.” This event aims to serve as a platform for exploring innovative approaches to conserving and utilizing local water environments to promote well-being and regional revitalization.
Addressing Diverse Needs in Water Environment Management
The Ministry of the Environment has long championed water environment conservation through initiatives like the “100 Famous Water Sites” and the “Water Project.” This symposium will delve into strategies for utilizing unique regional water environments to boost their attractiveness.
The symposium will be held online on December 19, 2024 (Thursday), and participation is free. The program includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, and case studies showcasing expert insights and practical measures for improving local water environments.
