The Ministry of the Environment has launched “Platform Clover,” an online platform designed to support efforts in creating regional circulating and ecological spheres. The platform, which fosters collaboration between government, industry, academia, and civil society, was established to promote activities nationwide aimed at building sustainable local communities. Through the launch of a feature page and a series of online seminars, the Ministry is pushing forward with support for decarbonization efforts in local regions.
Sharing Regional Initiatives through the Regional Circulating and Ecological Sphere Feature Page
As part of its effort to promote regional circulating and ecological spheres, the Ministry of the Environment is utilizing “Platform Clover.” This online SDGs platform facilitates collaboration between government, industry, academia, and civil society, helping solve local challenges and achieve sustainable societal goals. It also serves as a tool to connect communities with NGOs, companies, or experts when faced with challenges that cannot be addressed locally.
The launch of the “Regional Circulating and Ecological Sphere Feature Page” in 2024 marks a new phase in this initiative. This page showcases various activities aimed at building local ecological communities across the country. Featuring Ministry of the Environment policies, event information, and updates from communities, the page enables stakeholders to network and share their efforts on a national scale. Local governments, companies, and other interested parties are encouraged to access the feature page to foster connections and promote their own initiatives.
In addition to Platform Clover, the Ministry of the Environment is offering a “Regional Decarbonization Online Seminar Series.” Aimed at local government officials and stakeholders, this foundational course provides basic knowledge and real-world examples for introducing renewable energy at the regional level. The seminars also offer practical methods for overcoming challenges in the implementation of renewable energy projects. The fifth session will focus on energy efficiency diagnoses for buildings and the promotion of ZEB (Zero Energy Buildings).
The seminars are conducted online, with a maximum of 200 participants per session. Should demand exceed capacity, the seminars will also be streamed on YouTube, ensuring broader access. Interested parties can apply through the designated website, offering a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge and take action towards regional decarbonization.
