On November 5, 2024, the Sharing Economy Association of Japan will hold “SHARE SUMMIT 2024,” focusing on revitalizing regional economies through the sharing economy. Seven branch offices from across the country will host region-specific sessions, and the number of in-person participants has skyrocketed to four times that of the previous year, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for accelerating public-private partnerships.
The summit will feature a diverse lineup of key figures who are committed to exploring the potential of the sharing economy and contributing to regional communities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with local government officials and businesses, building practical knowledge and networks to tackle local challenges. Each area will host sessions tailored to their specific issues, providing a platform for meaningful collaboration aimed at realizing public-private partnerships.
Additionally, the summit will host the “Co-Creation Pitch Contest,” where entrepreneurs collaborate with government agencies to create sustainable regional societies. New business models linked to public infrastructure and services will be showcased, offering attendees innovative ideas for future development.
