14th Event to Promote Earth-Friendly Actions

The “GTF Green Challenge Day,” which started in 2010, will celebrate its 14th edition this year. The theme is “Connect and Support Forests, Rivers, and Oceans,” encouraging actions that promote coexistence with nature. Participants can enjoy a wide range of programs on the expansive lawns of Shinjuku Gyoen, including talk shows, mini-concerts, a food booth featuring environmentally friendly cuisine, workshops, and a marketplace.
The event will feature performances by artists such as MINMI and Visionary Gospel Choir, while experts will engage in discussions on environmental issues during the talk shows. The food booth will offer dishes made with eco-friendly ingredients, focusing on local production and food waste reduction.
Additionally, a chrysanthemum exhibition will be held simultaneously at Shinjuku Gyoen, providing participants with a rich array of experiences. More details can be found on the official website.
