Local Company Takes on Global Challenge with Strong Expertise and a Positive Corporate Culture

Hashimoto Gumi Co., Ltd., a comprehensive construction company with over a century of history, is headquartered in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Known for its community-oriented projects and trusted presence, Hashimoto Gumi now embarks on its first major international endeavor with the construction of the Hungary Pavilion at Expo 2025. Collaborating with partners from Hungary and Japan, Hashimoto Gumi aims to make an impact through its advanced technology and teamwork-oriented corporate culture.
The project incorporates precise design-sharing methods, including 3D CAD, which facilitate smooth progress within limited timeframes. Additionally, the use of ALC panels helps achieve a lightweight structure, while ICT tools streamline operations, addressing workforce limitations. Through this venture, Hashimoto Gumi seeks to highlight the strength of Japanese construction technology and the potential of regional enterprises on an international platform.
The Hungary Pavilion offers a unique immersive experience inspired by Hungary’s grasslands and cultural heritage, featuring a domed area for events, gift shops, and a restaurant. On-site construction incorporates pre-cast (PC) components to expedite work, leveraging cutting-edge technology for efficient project management.
Following Expo 2025, Hashimoto Gumi plans to apply the experience gained to further expand its business, contributing to both regional development and a stronger international presence.
